This product is a high-performance, custom-shaped neodymium magnet with an energy product rated at N52M, delivering exceptional magnetic strength, excellent resistance to demagnetization, and precise dimensional accuracy. The unique shape is designed to meet high-performance magnetic demands in compact spaces, making it ideal for applications in high-end electronics, wearable devices, industrial power tools, and magnetic toys.




Manufactured using advanced profile-cutting and grinding technologies, the magnet features clean edges and uniform dimensions. Surface treatments include a multi-layer metallic coating (Ni+Cu+Ni) or an optional zinc (Zn) coating, which effectively protects against oxidation and corrosion, significantly extending the magnet’s service life.

3. Manufacturing Process

  • Profile Cutting: Performed using specialized non-standard wire cutting for non-square/circular geometries.

  • Grinding: Applied for complex shapes and precision contour finishing to ensure dimensional and geometric tolerance.

  • Demagnetization & Charging: Initial demagnetization followed by precise magnetization to prevent deviation after assembly.

  • Laser Engraving: N-pole marking, customizable with logos or serial codes.



 

 

4. Surface Treatment & Coating

To enhance corrosion resistance and visual quality, the following surface treatments are applied:

  • Standard Coating: Triple-layer coating (Ni-Cu-Ni), customizable per customer requirements

  • Coating Thickness: Ni (3μm) + Cu (5μm) + Ni (4μm), customizable as needed

  • Optional Coating: Single-layer zinc (Zn, 5μm) for cost-sensitive projects

5. Visual & Dimensional Inspection Standards

To ensure consistency and reliability, all magnets undergo the following inspections:

  • Manual size check with micrometers/calipers

  • Visual inspection under 800–1200 lumen lighting at 20–30 cm distance

  • 2D image measurement for custom or complex geometries

  • Automated CCD sorting and full inspection of appearance and dimensions

  • Magnetic flux testing to ensure batch consistency


 

6. Reliability Testing

6.1 Neutral Salt Spray Test (NSS):

  • Temperature: 35℃ ±2℃

  • Salt deposition: 1–2 ml / 80 cm²·h

  • pH: 6.5 – 7.2

  • Duration: 24h / 48h / 72h / 96h (customizable per application)

 

 


6.2 Thermal Demagnetization Test:

  • Storage in oven at 80℃ for 2 hours (customizable)

  • Demagnetization rate ≤10% considered acceptable

  • Simulates thermal stability in real-world applications

 

6.3 Drop Test Notice:

  • Not suitable for “tool magnet” drop tests due to neodymium’s brittle nature

  • Strong impacts may cause chipping or cracking

 

 

7. Packaging Process & Instructions

  • In compliance with magnetic transport regulations, packaging includes:

  • Sorting out defective items

  • Uniformly magnetizing and neatly arranging qualified products

  • Custom box quantities and labeling per customer requirements

  • Vacuum packaging with magnetic shielding plates and anti-shock pads

  • Carton packing for moisture, shock, and magnetic interference protection
